I think it's done...

Since my last post, when this was a work in progress, I took a little trip to visit my sister in New Jersey. (I put a sign on my studio door that read, "Precarious Still Life Set Up. Please Do Not Disturb!) Unfortunately, I brought the flu... or some such nasty bug... home with me, and as a result, wasted several days lying around like a lump. I finally made myself get back to work on this yesterday, and I felt much better right away!

Two weeks and no mice in the studio! Talk about "still precarious life set up". Hmm... What do you think about a still life with evidence of mice?
Seriously though, it's beautiful. Len

I'm simply admiring this hear on my monitor and thinking, "It's done! It's done!" Beautiful work Liz. Especially the tatting lace/frivolité with all the detail.

Have a great Easter weekend!

Thank you Rowena! The piece of lace is interesting, isn't it? I like that it is not frilly at all, but very flat and geometric. Maybe made for a man's bureau?

Wishing you a lovely Easter as well!

Hey Len! There's an idea... still life with pizzelle and mouse droppings. I don't know. It's not really me. I mean, where's the joy in that? I'm all about the joy. Feel free to use the idea yourself, though!

And thanks for the serious comment, too!
