O. J. & Blues (work-in-progress #3)

This shot of the latest work-in-progress shows more of the loose drawing stage of my process... not to say that my process is the same with every piece... but somewhere in there, a natural, quick drawing style plays a part. I'd describe my process as follows: intuitive, practiced, and spontaneous happenings, in varying proportions.

I wish I lived close to you so you could teach me some of your techniques. Of course, you can't teach someone the "gift" part of art!

Beautiful composition in this piece and the way you are rendering the subject matter is giving the piece a lovely air of freshness! Loved your description of your process. :-)

I find it unbelieveable that you use colored pencils to do this beautiful painting. The glass actually looks like glass if I touched it. I am amazed at all your work. Thank you

Liz, I find it amazing that with such a loose application of cp, that you are able to acheive such detail in your pieces. Uniquely you! Great job.

Thank you all!
So, that idea of finishing three pieces at once... NOT GOOD. ... at least not for me. It makes me distracted. Live and learn, right?
All will be well, and finished, soon. :~)
